I have been doing Kate’s classes for nearly a year now and have only had to visit my osteopath once! He was so impressed by my muscle strength, mobility and improvement in my overall posture that hopefully I won’t have to see him again for at least another year! My fiancé and me have been working with Kate for nearly a year in her “Pilates reformer dungeon of unpleasant suprises”. Both of us had historic back and joint troubles coupled with flexibility and balance issues. Weak cores were the root cause. Well, the change has been truly transformational! Bending, stretching, walking, posture and my golf game (gained 10 yards on all shots!) all materially improved. Not having had any proper exercise for several years I knew that at seventy four going on seventy five, I needed to find myself some form of exercise. An article in the paper led me to Pilates and Google led me to Kate and I am so glad that they did. She seems to have an intuitive understanding of individual needs and this combined with her encouraging attitude, had proved to be beneficial in every way. Most unexpected but very welcome, is the fact that the painful leg cramps that used to wake me up, no longer bother me. Wonderful.

I absolutely love coming to Kate’s classes. Her sessions are well planned, challenging and differentiated according to how far you are in your Pilates journey. I’ve become so much stronger and the fitness I’ve gained has really helped in all areas of daily life. I’ve also had one to one sessions on the Reformer and these are demanding and targeted – well worth it if you’re up for a challenge and want to take your fitness to the next level.

I love Kate’s Pilates classes. She’s been a life saver for my wellbeing and the health of my lower back, especially during lockdown. She is enthusiastic and fun, and fantastic at describing each tiny move, making sure you get your posture absolutely correct with each position and movement, without risk of injury and ensuring you get the most benefit. I started Pilates with Kate as a beginner in February and despite lockdowns and COVID restrictions Kate has managed to keep classes going online, in the garden, in the barn or in the studio. Kate is passionate about Pilates and both encouraging and challenging in classes.
